Real Life

“My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.” (Ex 33:14).

Too many people are restless in their souls.

God wants to give your soul rest; relief, repose.

Ps 23:2 tells us Jesus wants us to lie down in green pastures…beside the still waters. He wants our souls to find His rest, to have His rest, to rest in His peace.

This rest doesn’t come from the world-not from people, not from things. This world cannot give you rest because the world has no rest to give. It can only agitate and add to your soul’s restlessness. Jesus alone gives you rest and He invites you to Come unto me…and I will give you rest.

How does He do that?

With His presence. You can receive His presence when you believe on Him. He will then keep your soul in His rest no matter where you go or what you go through.

His presence will never leave you nor forsake you.

Isa 57:20 says: the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest. The wicked are any who are not saved.

They are troubled in their souls and cannot rest. We have a God spot in each of us and until Jesus fills that God spot, our souls and spirits will remain restless.
