PLEAS

State vs. Makayla Faith Smith – 12 months each ct. 1: public drunkenness, ct. 2: criminal trespass. Counts to run concurrently for a total of 12 months. Sentence to be served on probation, credit for time served 2/21/26 – 2/24/26.

State vs. Jamel Dominque Ross – five years ct. 1: theft by shoplifting, 12 months ct. 2: criminal trespass. Counts to run concurrently for a total of five years with the first 180 days served in the Jones County jail. The remainder of sentence to be served on probation. Credit for time served 4/18/26 – 7/9/26.

State vs. Tierance Demetrius Samples Jr. – 10 years ct. 1: possession of firearm by convicted felon, 12 months each ct. 4: driving without a license, ct. 5: failure to yield right of way.

Counts to run concurrently for a total of 10 years with the first 240 days served in confinement. The remainder of sentence to be served on probation. Credit for time served 3/7/26 – 7/9/26.

State vs. Austin Ryan Walker – three years for the offense of possession cocaine with the first 90 days served in a probation detention center. The remainder of sentence to be served on probation. Credit for time served 6/19/26 – 7/9/26. Defendant to receive credit for time served and monies paid previously on this sentence.

State vs. Darius Julius Johnson – 10 years ct.

1: involuntary manslaughter, 12 months ct.

2: reckless conduct, five years ct. 3: theft by taking stolen property. Counts to run concurrently for a total of 10 years. Sentence to be served on probation. Credit for time served 10/31/24 – 7/9/2026. Defendant to receive credit for time served and monies paid previously on this sentence.

State vs. Cheyunshi Bishop Freeman – 12 months for the offense of simple battery.

Sentence to be served on probation. Credit for time served 2/3/25 – 2/3/25.

State vs. Richard Alan Green – 12 months for the offense of stalking. Sentence to be served on probation. Credit for time served in custody 3/10/26 – 7/9/26.

State vs. Christian Lewis Winters – 12 months for the offense of theft by shoplifting. Sentence to be served on probation. Credit for time served 2/19/26 – 2/20/26.

State vs. Gregory Keith Johnson Sr. – 12 months for the offense of theft by shoplifting.

Sentence to be served on probation. Credit for time served 3/2/26 – 4/2/26.

PROBATION MODIFICATIONS

State vs. Quinton Stephan Watson – defendant revoked to state prison system for 7 years.

Sentence end date 4/15/2036. Probation will be reinstated at end of prison sentence.

State vs. Darius Julius Johnson – defendant is adjudicated guilty and resentenced to 10 years. He shall receive credit for time already served on probation and credit for all monies paid. Upon release, he shall return to regular probation supervision.

State vs. Lonnie Terrell Brown – defendant ordered to serve 120 days in the Jones County jail with credit for time served from 6/17/26. He shall be released at the discretion of the sheriff. Upon release, he shall return to regular probation supervision. Defendant shall not be placed on unsupervised probation until further order of the court.

Defendant also ordered to pay $200 in restitution within 30 days of his release.

State vs. Michelle Marie Bowen – defendant ordered to serve 120 days in a probation detention center following all rules and regulations of the program. She shall receive credit for time served starting 7/9/26. Upon release, she shall return to regular probation supervision. The defendant shall not be placed on unsupervised probation until further order of the court.

State vs. Joshua Stanley Scott – defendant ordered to 30 days in the Jones County jail with credit for time served since 6/18/26.

He shall be released at the discretion of the sheriff. Upon release, he shall return to regular probation supervision.

The defendant shall not be placed on unsupervised probation until further order of the court.

State vs. John James Staggs - defendant ordered to serve 12 months in the Jones County jail with credit for time served since 7/25/25. He shall be released at the discretion of the sheriff. Upon release, he shall return to regular probation supervision. Upon release, he shall be ordered to enter and complete the Matrix program. The defendant shall not be placed on unsupervised probation until further order of the court.

State vs. Clinton Wayne Fountain - defendant ordered to 90 days in the Jones County jail with credit for time served since 6/23/26.

He shall be released at the discretion of the sheriff. Upon release, he shall return to regular probation supervision. Upon release, he shall enter and complete the Matrix program following all rules and regulations of the program. The defendant shall not be placed on unsupervised probation until further order of the court.

State vs. Eric Felman Turner – defendant ordered to serve 60 days in the Jones County jail, receiving credit for time already served.

He shall be released at the discretion of the sheriff. Upon release, he shall return to regular probation supervision.

State vs. Darrell Lee Kitchens Jr. – defendant ordered to serve five months in the Jones County jail with credit for time served since 6/10/26. He shall be released at the discretion of the sheriff. Upon release, the balance on probation shall be terminated. Sentence end date 2/7/27.

State vs. Keshun Tavarious Johnson – defendant shall enter and complete a 12-month inpatient substance abuse treatment program at the Lotus Recovery, following all rules and regulations of the program, including any aftercare. He shall remain in custody until bedspace is available. Upon release, he shall return to regular probation supervision.

State vs. Cody Blake McKinney – defendant shall receive credit for time served since 6/25/26.

He shall enter and complete a 6-month THOR approved outpatient treatment program for substance abuse, approved by the Department of Community Supervision within 30 days of release. Upon release, he shall return to regular probation supervision.

He shall not be placed on unsupervised probation until further order of the court.

State vs. Cheyunshi Bishop Freeman – defendant ordered to serve 90 days in the Jones County jail with credit for time served since 5/27/26. He shall be released at the discretion of the sheriff. Upon release, he shall return to regular probation supervision. State vs. Michael David Smith – defendant ordered to serve 365 days in the Jones County jail. While at the jail, he shall complete all drug rehab programs available to him. Upon completion and release, he shall return to regular probation supervision. State vs. Johnathan Luke Norton – defendant revoked to the state penal system for 8 years. Sentence end date 10/6/39.

State vs. Jamel Dominique Ross – defendant ordered to serve 180 days in the Jones County jail with credit for time served since 4/18/26. He shall be released at the discretion of the sheriff. Upon release, he shall return to regular probation supervision.

State vs. Terry Lee Barefoot - defendant ordered to serve 90 days in a probation detention center, following all rules and regulations of the program. Credit for time starts 7/9/26.

Upon release, he shall return to regular probation supervision and enter and complete the Matrix program. He shall not be placed on unsupervised probation until further order of the court.

State vs. Troy Anfern Glover Jr. - defendant ordered to 90 days in the Jones County jail with credit for time served since 6/17/26.

He shall be released at the discretion of the sheriff. Upon release, he shall return to regular probation supervision. Upon release, defendant ordered to enter and complete the Washington County Day Reporting Center, following all rules and regulations of the program, including any aftercare recommended.

State vs. Brenda Lee Seabrooks – defendant shall be ordered to serve 90 days in the Jones County jail with credit for time served since 6/2/26. She shall be released at the discretion of the sheriff. Upon release, she shall return to regular probation supervision (2 cases, same resolution).

State vs. Ladavian Montrell Ross – defendant shall serve 12 months in the Jones County jail. He shall receive credit for time served in custody from 4/9/26. He shall be released at the discretion of the sheriff. Upon release, he shall return to regular probation supervision as originally ordered.

State vs. Brad Gene Kendrick – defendant revoked to 12 months to the Jones County jail with credit for times served since 4/30/26. Upon release, he shall return to regular probation supervision. He shall not be placed on unsupervised until further order of the court.
