“There is a strong sense of community in Jones County, and you don’t find that everywhere,” she said. “The small-town feel isn’t there in surrounding counties, so this is home for us. We are always looking for opportunities to give back and help in Jones County, since we are in a position to do so.”

She said Tekton Electrical Services is important for Jones County because they hold themselves to high standards. She said they believe in craftsmanship, timeliness and customer service. She said they take a lot of pride in what they do.

“We are a full electrical contractor, so we do anything from small, residential jobs to industrial and commercial. We do EV charging and solar panels, we do generators and more. We started Tekton Electrical Services a little over a year ago. Prior to that, it was a side business. It finally got busy enough to where we decided to take this leap,” Harley said.

Mason said they generally do an hourly service rate, and they offer free estimates. He said people should choose Tekton Electrical Services, because of their quality work. He said they are going to do the work right.

“I just kind of fell into doing electrical trade, and I went into the field before I even knew about the opportunities,” he said. “I was older by the time I found out about it. Everyone at Tekton is well trained. I’ve been doing this for about 12 years now, and I’m happy to start up Tekton.”

Harley said they service just about everywhere in the middle Georgia area. She said they service Jones County, Bibb County, Baldwin County, Eatonton, Greensboro, McIntyre, Gordon, Warner Robins, Bonaire, Perry, and more. She said they have done jobs as far as Augusta.

The owner said if people in Jones County and surrounding counties need electrical work done, she hopes they choose Tekton Electrical Services. She said they would love the opportunity to be able to meet new people and help them out with their electrical issues.

“We hope to be here a long time. The community has been really good to us,” Harley said. “We hope to stay in Jones County as long as possible. We love being able to have our business close by and prove a service for a great community.”
