Walls of Books in Milledgeville offers a selection of new and used books for readers of any age.
Opening in July of 2020, Wall of Books established itself as an affordable bookstore with a vast selection of books and genres.
Walking into the store offers a burst of color among the many shelves of paper and hardback books.
The store also offers a trade program where books may be brought in and evaluated for the customer to receive store credit. In addition, the trade program allows all books purchased at the location to be returned for 50% of the original price as store credit, as long as the price sticker remains on the back of the book.
“We offer books for the avid who are looking for affordable choices,” said Greg Phillip, owner of Wall of Books.
Phillips bought the store from its previous owner and runs four other Wall of Books locations.
“The location was opened by Scott and, in July, I took over the location,” said Phillips. “I run multiple locations and I care for each one.”
According to Phillips, along with the trade program, Walls of Books can special order books and offers the newest books at a discount.
He works closely with customers to ensure that any book they may be looking for can be found. “We are more affordable than most online sellers,” said Phillips.
“We offer a variety of choices and deals through our trade program you can’t get anywhere else.”
Wall of Books is located at 1905 North Columbia Street, Suite C in Milledgeville and is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
“Our store is a win-win situation.
Customers can get rid of their old books for store credit and be able to find any book they may be looking for, no matter its age,” said Phillips. “For this reason, we are an asset to the community.
