County approves zoning for church

A local pastor appeared to practice what he preaches when he told a roomful of people that he loved each one of them after they essentially told him, not always politely, his church was not wanted in their neighborhood.

Zoning issue unresolved as councilmen remain absent

Despite assurances to the contrary, Gray’s City Council was once again a man short to settle a pending zoning issue that has been on hold for months.When Mayor Ed Barbee called the meeting to order Aug. 5, Councilman Terry Favors was absent once again.
