The Jones County Kiwanis club donated $1,500 to the Jesus’ Hands Ministry recently. Charles Newberry, president of the Kiwanis Club, presented the gift to Trish Ash. The ministry feeds children during the summer when their parents work or are otherwise unable to provide meals for them and school lunches and breakfasts are not available. Ash previously spoke to the club concerning the ministry, which is entirely volunteer.
