Georgia tight end Brock Bowers had a career day last week against Florida. The sophomore pass-catcher hauled in five receptions for a career-high 154 yards and a TD on Saturday in the top-ranked Bulldogs’ 42-20 win over the Gators.

Ahead of next weekend’s region meet, Jones County’s competition cheer squad journeyed northward on Saturday and carried home a second-place finish amongst heated competition in the Chief Cheer Classic. Early voting seeing big turnout; this is last week

More Jones County voters have cast their ballots, utilizing Early Voting thus far in the upcoming mid-term election, than voted on Election Day in the 2020 presidential election.
The total number of Jones County voters who voted on Election Day Nov. 3, 2020, was 3,927.
