Baseball and softball registration is underway for both the Highway 18 and Highway 49 complexes.
Jones County Little League registration for the 2026 season at Highway 18 ballpark is now open online and extends through Jan. 31. In-person registration will take place at the Knox Civic Center on Jan. 13, 17, 22, 29 and 31.
Baseball age groups are 4-5 for tee ball, 6-7 for coach pitch, 8 for instructional as well as age groups of 9-10, 11-12 and 13-16. Softball age groups are 4-5 for tee ball, 6-8 for coach pitch as well as 9-10, 11-12 and 13-16. Wee ball participants must turn 3 by Jan. 1, 2026. For the Highway 49 South Complex, registration is through Feb. 6 with in-person registration on Jan. 24, 31 and Feb. 7 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wee ball registration, for ages 3-4, is $65 with the fee for ages 5-16 in baseball and softball being $110. Glow-Ball Pickleball Tournament on Jan. 9-10
Pickleball will take to the darkness Jan. 9-10 in Jones County when Jones County Pickleball hosts its Glow Ball Tournament. Held both days from 6-10 p.m., the event is open to Jones County Pickleball Club members and non-members. Men’s and women’s doubles play will be Friday with mixed doubles on Saturday.
