“For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.“-Jn 3:17 Jesus was sent by the Father to save people. He didn’t come to earth to condemn people. He didn’t come to condemn because we are “condemned already” as Jesus says in v18. We are born condemned. At conception, the sin nature of Adam is passed on to each of us. We come out the womb dragging a ball and chain--sin.
No exceptions. And that sin nature displays itself from day one. Gal 5:19-21 offers a partial list of the fruit our sin nature.
We don’t need a condemner. We need a savior. So came Jesus, the only One not born with Adam’s sin nature because He was born with His Father’s divine nature.
Being sinless, Jesus could be the Lamb of sacrifice for sinners. Sin free blood.
No sinner can atone for another sinner. It takes the sin free blood of Christ to wash away the sin dirt of the human heart.
Religion, rituals, good works--none of these things will “uncondemn” you. If they could, God would not have needed to send His Son to save us. Until you repent and believe “in the name of the only begotten Son of God“-Jesus--you will remain condemned. Get your pardon today. Believe on Jesus and be saved.
