Dear Editor,
This past Saturday, as local churches gathered at Carol’s Park for a Silent Prayer Walk to Ingles, was a tribute to our Lord Jesus before Palm Sunday. The men carrying the large cross leading the walk gave a remembrance of an even heavier cross with many stripes onto the Crucifixion of Jesus. Many came to honor this day. Some in wheelchairs and pushing walkers, young and old. We appreciate our police and sheriff’s officers keeping us safe through the incoming traffic at lights. A devotion and prayer at the park and Pastor Randy had a short sermon with love for our Savior. As we returned to the park, we had a prayer of Thanksgiving for our sin bearer Jesus Christ and God Bless America.
