Part of a nationwide network of 135 hubs, Middle Georgia Honor Flight was founded in 2018 and has taken over 400 veterans on 30 flights to Washington D.C. to see their memorials.

More Info: Applications for the Elmyr Henderson Memorial Scholarship through the Gray Garden Club are currently being accepted. One $1000 scholarship will be offered for the 2026 graduating class. Applications are available for any high school senior who is a resident of Jones County. Applications may be obtained from the JCHS Counselor’s office or at the Jones County Public Library.
