All-region baseball selections are in for Region 2-AAAA, and it includes seven Greyhounds.
Dalton Lowe is an all-region selection as a pitcher with Cooper Rice and Paulk being named as utility picks. MJ Lane was named all-region as a catcher with Gavin Simon, Jonathan Scarbary, and Davis Upshaw being recognized as outfielders.
Lowe finished the season with a 2.86 ERA with Paulk and Rice being recognized for their impact on the mound and at the plate. Rice finished the season with a 5-2 record and a team-high 55 strikeouts with Paulk sporting a 2.53 ERA. Paulk also finished the season with a .286 batting average with Rice’s 21 RBIs being a team-best.
Upshaw and Lane were among the team frontrunners in batting average at .407 and .400, Scarbary’s five doubles tied for the team lead, and Simon led the Greyhounds in stolen bases with 18.
