What: Day Lily display When: Sat., June 6, starting at 8 a.m.
Where: W.E. Knox Civic Center More Info: Bring your favorite lilies to display. Flowers for display will need to be received from 8 – 10 a.m. Judging takes place from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. and open to the public from 12 – 3 p.m. Your specimen should be owned at least three months, limit 24 inch scape. Categories are large, small, miniature, double, unusual form and spider. Containers are supplied. Flowers will be sold outside beginning at 9 a.m. Specimens must be picked up by 3 p.m. or it will be disposed of.

What: Jr. Golf Clinic When: June 8, 9, 10; June 22, 23, 24 and July 13, 14, 15 from 9 a.m. – 11: 30 a.m.
Where: Lake Jonesco Golf Club More Info: PGA Pro Andy Pittman will conduct three Jr. golf clinics this summer. The cost is $100. School age children only. To enter your child, call 678-877 7505 or enter at Lake Jonesco Golf Club. There will be classes for advanced players during the summer. Call Andy for information. This clinic is for players that know how to play golf but want to know how to play tournament golf or aspirations of college golf.

Includes a parade through downtown, 5K and 10K road races, plus a 1-mile fun run, kiddie rides, food, and crafts vendors, with local dignitaries and dairy-related speakers.
