Amanda Lynn Beard

Nov. 1, 1986 - July 12, 2026

Amanda Lynn Beard, age 39, of Gray, GA, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2026. Born on November 1, 1986, Amanda lived life on her own terms and left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Amanda’s greatest accomplishment and pride was being a mother. She is survived by her daughters, Brooklynn Beard (DJ Harrison) and Shelby Moore; her sons, Spencer Moore and Douglas Moore; her beloved granddaughter, Aurora Harrison; her mother and stepfather, Nancy and Mark Bass; her father and stepmother, Gerald “Jerry” and Charlene Beard; her sisters, Holly Waits (Steve) and Victoria Nolan (Nick); along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.

She also leaves behind her faithful fur baby, Serenity. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lawrence and Ann Mayne, Ronald and Marie Beard, and Barbara and Robert Bass, and her uncle, Keith Beard.

Amanda was a proud graduate of the Jones County High School Class of 2005 and was attending the University of Phoenix, working toward earning her business degree with dreams of opening her own business.

Known for her strong will, creativity, and determination, Amanda could fix just about anything and never backed down from a challenge. She loved haunted houses, loud music, and making memories with her family. She jokingly found every deer in Jones County with her van, a story that became one of the many memories her family will always laugh about.

She was affectionately known as the loudest one in the house, and even her footsteps let everyone know she had arrived.

Her nieces and nephews especially loved that she always found ways to spoil them.

More than anything, Amanda loved her children and granddaughter.

She faced life’s challenges with strength and resilience, and her love, laughter, and unforgettable spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Funeral services were held at Gray Memorial Chapel, 4378 Gray Highway, Gray, GA, on Wednesday, July 15, 2026. Visitation was held from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Bradley Baptist Church Renovation Fund in Amanda’s memory.
