“Be not deceived... fornicators…shall not inherit the kingdom of God” (I Cor 6:9-10).
Fornication. All sex outside the bond of Biblical marriage. A fornicator is one who practices fornication.
The Greek word for fornication is “porneia “.
This is where we get our English word pornography from. And God warns humanity that fornicators will not be allowed into the Father’s house.
Fornication is an umbrella word covering all sexual sin--sex before marriage, adultery, homosexuality, incest, pornography, and others I won’t name. We are told to “Flee fornication” (I Cor 6:18). Run from it as fast as you can. It is sin.
It’s sin against Jesus, the creator of sex. It’s perversion of His design for sex. And the lake of fire is where all fornicators will end up. Unless-the offender repents.
“And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus” --I Cor 6:11. Jesus will forgive if you will repent.
Sex is for marriage only. Wait until you say, “I do”, then do. With God’s blessing.
