The Lady Greyhounds fought back in the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader in the first round of the state playoffs. As a result, their first-round series against Madison County will go to a third game on Thursday at home with first pitch at 5 p.m.
Jones County, which dropped a close 6-5 decision in Wednesday's first game, battled back to extend its season in the second game, winning 4-2.
Thursday's winner will advance to face Central Carrollton, who swept Mays on Wednesday in a pair of shutouts.
