PLEAS

State vs. Devondra Veon Cousin Sr. – 15 years for the offense of Violation of Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act with the first four years to be served in confinement. The remainder of sentence to be served on probation. Credit for time served from 8/13/21.

State vs. John Matthew Popkoski – 15 years ct. 1: possession methamphetamine with intent to distribute, one year ct. 2: possession of firearm during the commission of felony. Counts to run consecutively for a total of 16 years. The first 12 months served in confinement in the Jones County Jail (no credit for confinement time served before 12/23/21). The remainder of sentence to be served on probation.

State vs. Christian Jordon Clayboss – 10 years cts.

2-3: sexual exploitation of children. Counts to run concurrently for a total of 10 years with the first 323 days served in confinement at the Jones County jail (release at the discretion of the sheriff) and the remainder to be served on probation. Credit for time served from 11/4/21 to 2/24/22 and from 5/2/22 to present.

State vs. Willie Michael Wood Jr. – 20 years to serve for the offense of Violation of Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act with credit for time served from 1/26/21.

State vs. Cory Michael Moore – one year for the offense of possession methamphetamine.

Credit for time served from 5/16/22.

State vs. Maurice Keith Greene Sr. – 10 years ct.

1: exploitation and intimidation of disabled adult, elder person or resident, 12 months each ct. 2: simple battery and ct. 3: theft by taking.

Counts to run concurrently for a total of 10 years with the first two years to be served in confinement. The remainder of sentence to be served on probation. Credit for time served from 7/2/20.

State vs. Nicholas William Kimble – three years for the offense of possession schedule IV controlled substance. Sentence to be served on probation.

PROBATION MODIFICATIONS

State vs. Willie Michael Wood – balance of case revoked to be served in confinement in the state prison system. Case expires 3/10/23.

(two cases, same resolution).

State vs. Clarence Clark III – defendant is ordered to residential substance abuse treatment facility, suspended upon entry into a Thor approved inpatient treatment facility for 12 months. Defendant will remain in custody until entry into the program. Upon completion of program, defendant to return to regular probation supervision.

State vs. Chris Anthony Powell – defendant is to serve 120 days in the Jones County jail.

Upon release, defendant is ordered to remain on active probation supervision for the remainder of case.

State vs. John Matthew Popkoski – defendant adjudicated guilty and re-sentenced to 16 years with 12 months served in jail. Defendant to receive credit for time served since his original sentence date and credit for time served since his arrest 12/23/21 toward the confinement portion of sentence. Upon release, defendant shall remain on active probation supervision for two years.

State vs. Tyler Nicholas Rozar – defendant ordered to probation detention center for 90 days. Upon successful completion, defendant shall return to regular probation supervision.
