The Kiwanis Club recently honored James Rackley as STAR Student for 2023 and Rusty Owens as STAR Teacher at a banquet held in the dining hall of Gray Baptist Church. James selected Mr. Owens who taught him in the fifth grade at Turner Woods Elementary.
James scored the highest on the Scholastic Aptitude Test in Jones County High School.
