JC Friends of the Library Book Sale

The Jones County Friends of the Library will have a book sale Saturday, March 11, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at 273 Railroad St., the building on the Jones County Pre-K campus next to the JCHS track. 1000’s of books of all types for all ages! Incredible prices – many are FREE! Feature of the Month: MYSTERIES.

Sponsored by the JC Friends of the Library.

Morton Johnson Scholarship

Students interested in applying for the Morton Johnson Scholarship for the 2023-2024 school year may pick up an application at the Jones County High School Counselor’s office or email: darscholarship@windstream.net. Velma McFadden Food Bank

Velma McFadden Missionary Food Bank will be at Greater Jordan Chapel, 1415 Highway 22 East, Haddock, on the following schedule each month: First Saturday, 10:00-11:30 a.m.

Third Thursday, 10:00-11:30 a.m.

Mobile Food Truck Distribution Fourth Wednesday, 11 a.m. until all is gone.
