–George Sheffield “The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into His hand” (Jn 3:35) Jesus is in absolute control. The Father has given ALL things into His Son’s hand. All authority, all power, all judgment, all kingdoms, all of creation, all of Heaven, all of Hell, all the saved, all the lost-ALL THINGS. Jesus rules over all. It’s all in His hand--hey, Jesus is so powerful that He can rule His creation with one hand “tied“ behind His back.
This earth is His footstool. The greatest this world has to offer is still under the feet of Jesus.
Jesus rules this world and it is unfolding just as He desires it to. We see unbridled chaos. Jesus sees divine order.
Jesus has your life in His hand. So be at peace.
Whether you are facing tragedy or joy, Jesus is sovereign over your life, and He will work out your life for your good and His glory somehow, someway.
He will use the good stuff and the bad stuff to do it. Nothing you are going through is greater than Jesus. It’s all under His feet and in His hand.
The Father has given Jesus all things into His crucified hands. And those crucified hands are powerful, yet compassionate, hands.
