–George Sheffield “For what is your life?
It is even a vapor that appears for a little time, and then vanishes away.”
(Jam 4:14) Ever see your breath on a cold, winter day?
It’s a vapor that appears, and within seconds is gone. God says this is how our lives are. We appear on this planet for a few seconds (compared to eternity) and then no more.
You are born, you blink, and then you are gone.
But after you leave this planet, you are still alive.
You are spirit and you are eternal. You will live forever, either in Heaven or Hell. You determine your eternal destiny while you are still a vapor here.
Accept Jesus-it’s Heaven.
Refuse Jesus-it’s Hell. It’s that simple.
But don’t procrastinate too long on your decision.
Your vapor is fading with each passing day and until you accept Jesus, you remain in the “ticket to Hell” group. Scripture warns us that today is the day of salvation (2 Cor 6:2) because tomorrow is not guaranteed.
