Rezoning denied for mental healthcare facility

    A rezoning request that brought out enough people to necessitate the move to a larger venue ended up wrapping up quickly after the petitioner appeared to lose interest and did not show up.

    Commission Chairman Chris Weidner called the Nov. 7 meeting to order. The meeting was held at the W.E. Knox Civic Center to accommodate the number of people anticipated to attend.
