The Kiwanis Club of Jones County donated $750 to Jay’s Hope Foundation to support the outstanding work done by Jay’s Hope, helping families who have a child battling cancer. Charles Newberry, Kiwanis President, right, presented a check to Cindy Gaskins, founder and director of Jay’s Hope. Josh Massengale, the father of a child benefiting from Jay’s Hope, is in the center of the photo. Josh and Cindy spoke to Kiwanis about the mission of the organization and the assistance given Josh’s son, Lucas. Jason Gaskins, co-founder, was also present at the meeting. Newberry praised Jason and Cindy Gaskins who are Jones County residents.
