Hannah Layfield, a local esthetician, just opened Ever Be Beauty, a business centered around skincare and skincare needs, in a new location in Gray.

Layfield said she moved to Jones County when she was nine years old.
She moved from Milledgeville, but graduated in Jones County. She said Jones County is home and what she knows.
“I love Jones County.
I don’t plan on leaving here,” she said. “When I was diagnosed with cancer the community banded together and supported me with fundraising and prayer. It’s hard to walk away from people like that.”
She said her goal is to help people feel better about their skin and know how to take care of their skin with Ever Be Beauty.
She said it’s important to set people up with a good skin routine. She said people should choose Ever Be Beauty, because she provides a peaceful atmosphere and brings the Lord praise through her business. She said people might not be able to find that elsewhere.
“I am a licensed medical esthetician, and I started my business about three and a half years ago inside of Trend Setters. Ever Be Beauty is a place where I do advanced facials. I used medical grade skin care to benefit people and enhance their already existing beauty. I love to make people feel beautiful about themselves,” Layfield said.
The esthetician said she’s also a certified personal trainer and teaches pilates at Elite Fitness in Gray. She’s started implementing more nutrition and fitness into Ever Be Beauty. She said she loves skin care a lot and is happy she can help the community with their skin care needs.
“I wanted a place I could educate people in some kind of way. I was considering becoming a teacher, but I needed to do something I was passionate about. When I was younger, I was diagnosed with a skin condition, went to an esthetician, had the experience, and left knowing that’s what I wanted to do,” she said.
The business owner said she shadowed an esthetician and was able to gather the information she needed to properly become an esthetician through that process. She said she attended Central Georgia Technical College for their medical skincare specialist certificate program.
“I worked in a dermatology office while I was in school, and I moved to go to Georgia Career Institute to attend their esthetics program,” she said. “I graduated from there, took my license board exam, became an esthetician, and have a medical background.”
Layfield said at Ever Be Beauty she does facials starting at $40, brows and brow tints starting at $12, lashes starting at $15, waxing starting at $10, and more. She said she offers many different services for her customer’s needs with their skin.
She said people in Jones County should check out her business, because she is looking forward to helping them.
“My business is important for Jones County, because it makes our already tight knit community better,” Layfield said. “I want this to be a place of wellness, not just skin. Anyone can benefit from that, so I wanted to bring that here. I wanted to be another option for the people of Gray, and hopefully become their preferred esthetician.”
