State vs. Cedric Walter Whitehead – 20 years for the lesser included offense of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute. The first 10 years served in confinement and the remainder of sentence to be served on probation.
Defendant to receive credit for time served from 2/12/23.
State vs. Malik Gerrionta Harden – 12 months for the offense of simple battery. Sentence to be served on probation.
State vs. Alton Claude Ashley – 12 months for the offense of theft by shoplifting. Sentence to be served on probation.
State vs. Randall Lee Josey – 10 years ct. 1: aggravated assault family violence, 12 months ct. 2: battery family violence.
Counts to run concurrently for a total of 10 years. Sentence to be served on probation.
PLEAS FEB. 28
State vs. Dakota James Harper – three years ct. 1: theft by taking, five years ct. 4: possession firearm by convicted felon. Counts to run consecutively for a total of eight years.
The defendant is to receive credit for time served in custody from 1/4/24 and shall forfeit any and all items seized.
State vs. Neremiah Terrell Johnson – five years each ct. 1: fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, ct. 2: theft by taking.
Counts to run consecutively for a total of 10 years with the first five years served in confinement and the remainder on probation. Defendant to receive credit for time served in custody from 11/28/23.
State vs. Wesley Dean Davis – 5 years for the offense of burglary in the first degree with the first 150 days served in confinement in Jones County Law Enforcement Center. The remainder of the sentence may be served on probation. Defendant to receive credit for time served and monies previously paid from 6/17/21.
State vs. Johanna Jean Bryant – one year for the offense of possession of methamphetamine. Sentence to be served on probation.
State vs. Cameron Anthony – three years for the offense of possession methamphetamine. Sentence to be served on probation.
State vs. Ronald Richmond Evans II – 30 days for the offense of criminal trespass.
PROBATION MODIFICATIONS
State vs. Neremiah Terrell Johnson – defendant’s probation balance revoked to the state penal system. End date 1/22/28 State vs. Ian Anthony Arender – defendant is in contempt of court from his behavior in court, and sentenced to 30 days to serve. Once that is served, he may enter and complete a state probation detention center abiding by all rules of that facility.
He shall serve 180 days in the PDC. Upon completion, he shall enter and complete an in-patient substance abuse treatment facility, abiding by all rules and regulations of that facility.
State vs. Kara Nicole Brown – defendant is ordered to serve 180 days in the Jones County Law Enforcement Center.
Defendant shall receive credit for time already served and shall be released at the discretion of the sheriff. Upon release, defendant shall enter and complete Macon DRC program. All conditions are now special.
State vs. Cameron Thomas Anthony – defendant is revoked to 60 – 90 days in a probation detention center. The defendant shall abide by all rules and regulations of the program and complete all aftercare.
Upon release, the defendant shall return to probation supervision as originally ordered. All conditions now special.
State vs. Dakota James Harper – defendant’s probation balance shall be revoked to the state penal system. End date 10/19/25.

State vs. Wesley Dean Davis – defendant’s probation revocation shall be modified from being adjudicated guilty and resentenced to serve five years on probation with the first 150 days to be served in the probation detention center to being adjudicated guilty with the first 150 days to be served in Jones County Jail with credit for time already served from 11/12/23 to 2/24/24. The defendant shall be given credit for time already served on probation since June 17, 2021. Defendant shall not be eligible for unsupervised supervision for two years.
State vs. Willie Walter Smith – defendant shall receive credit for time served since 2/2/24. Upon release, defendant shall return to probation supervision as originally ordered. Defendant shall complete a substance abuse evaluation and follow all recommendations from the substance abuse counselor. All conditions now special. State vs. Ray Edwards – defendant is ordered to serve 90 days in the Jones County jail.
He shall be released at the discretion of the sheriff. Upon release, he shall return to regular probation supervision. Credit for time served from 1/14/24. All conditions now special.
