The 2024 Jones County Senior Retreat was hosted by Bradley Baptist Church last week and sponsored by TriCo-Go and Tri-County EMC. The event is a collaborative program of the Jones County/Gray Chamber of Commerce and the Jones County College and Career Academy. The 30-minute sessions at the retreat were lead by 25 community partners, and students attended six sessions during the event. The purpose of the program was to prepare students for reallife scenarios they would face after high school, such as what to look for in an apartment lease, household budgets, self defense and basic car care.
