“they did not like to retain God in their knowledge” (Rom 1:28) Lots of people refuse to believe in God. They claim there is no proof of His existence. They must walk around with their eyes closed and their ears muffled. Creation screams the glory of God.
It displays the works of His hands. Their noses must be clogged if they can’t smell the fragrance of flowers.
Their tongue dead if they can’t taste the sweetness of an apple. Their flesh numb if they can’t feel the warmth of the sun. The evidence is all around them. Even many scientists now admit that the complexity of creation is the product of intelligent design. In other words--a Creator.
But in spite of any evidence produced, the God-rejecters would reject that evidence. The problem is not they can’t believe, but that they just don’t want to believe. If they believe in God, a Supreme Being Who makes the rules of both the physical and spiritual world, then that means they must be accountable to that Being. And that they don’t want to do. So, they declare there is no God as if that makes it true. No God. No rules. No sin. No judgment.
God exists. And He loves you. Yes, He will judge sin but He sent His Son to save you from that judgment. Repent and Believe on Jesus and you shall be saved.
