Dear Editor,
The 6th annual Statewide Bible Reading in Jones County was a glorious time with the Lord, His Word, and local members of the Body of Christ. The conditions were just perfect for an early morning time of worshiping the Lord through the reading of His Holy Word, and we were blessed with a stunning sunrise and nice weather.
All 159 counties in Georgia participated by reading their assigned scriptures, resulting in the entire Bible spoken into the atmosphere, and into the earth, in less than an hour. Hallelujah!
The electrical outlet was not working, but that did not slow us down! We proceeded in the power of the Holy Spirit, and I encouraged the readers to shout to the Lord and to all listening. It was a powerful move of God and a wonderful way to start our Sunday.
I am grateful to all who sacrificed a little extra sleep to join us. Afterall, considering the sacrifice Jesus willingly paid to cover the price of our sins, it was a small thing. Thank you to all who attended, especially the pastors.
This appointed time before the King of the Universe, became more than a statewide Bible reading. It was a move of God that happened across America and throughout the earth! How awesome that we had the privilege of participating!

NATIONS participating: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Dominican Republic, England, France, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Haiti, India, Northern Ireland, Israel, Kenya, Malawi, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Portugal, Russia, Scotland, Sierra Leone, Uganda, USA, Wales, and Zimbabwe.
We also gave glory to God for His miracle the previous evening in preventing a tragedy at Donald Trump’s rally. For those who do not understand, God is not dead, but alive! He was not sleeping, but HE WAS THERE and dispatched an unknown army of angels to intervene and protect those in attendance. We pray for the injured, and the family and friends of hero Corey Comperatore.
Just as scripture tells us, His hand is not short. It was His hand of mercy and protection that deflected a bullet meant to destroy Trump’s life. At the precise moment, in God’s timing, he turned this man’s head to an angle that prevented certain tragedy.
I do not believe the timing of this Bible reading was any accident. In fact, I fully believe this miracle was a direct result of the power of scripture and the many prayers we have prayed in downtown Gray over the past years. God STILL hears. God STILL answers. He moves in His own timing.
Please continue to pray for the protection of Trump, Biden, and all those running for election this year. Do not stop praying after the election, but continue in obedience to scripture. Pray that TRUTH and JUSTICE prevail.
To those who feel God is done with America, that was your proof that He is NOT finished. America is a covenant nation with Him because of our founder’s faith and founding documents. God established government. May the United States of America return to our founding faith and practices. I believe the result of these events can spark a fire for revival in our nation, but we must consistently pray for this, according to 2 Chronicles 7:14.
Please, take time to read Psalms 137-150 and give Him praise!
