Dear Jones County Families,
On behalf of the Jones County Board of Education I would like to extend a very hearty “Welcome Back” to a new school year that promises to be filled with excitement, learning, and growth!
We are delighted to greet both returning and new families as we embark on this year’s academic journey together.
Thursday, August 1, 2024, will be the first day for students. We are filled with optimism and enthusiasm as we anticipate hallways filled with the happy faces of your children.
Our dedicated team of teachers, administrators, and staff have been working tirelessly this summer to prepare a safe, engaging, and inspiring learning environment for all students.

Throughout the school year there will be many events and activities that will provide families an opportunity to take part in school life. We encourage all families to stay actively involved in their child’s education as we believe that a strong partnership between school and home is key to creating a thriving learning community.
