Thanks to our dedicated faculty and the support of our community, Turner Woods has made great strides this past year! We look forward to continuing to grow and support our students and families. We will strive to ensure every student excels academically, socially, and emotionally. With your support, our focus for this school year will be guided by the three R’s: Rigor, Relevance, and Relationships. Let the excitement begin! Here are a few helpful tips and procedures for a great start to a new year!
• Studentsmayarriveasearlyas7:15 am. Please do not drop students off before 7:15 am.
• SchoolDismissalManager(SDM) TWES uses this dismissal app to replace having to send written notes, emails, or calls to change your child’s mode of transportation. The office will not accept transportation changes after 2:00 pm in person, by telephone, or in the SDM App. Please make sure you complete the update before the first day of school.
• CUBCAREwillbeginonthefirstday of school. Payments can be made by check, cash, money order, or debit/ credit card (3.5% processing fee). Visit our web page for the Cub Care latest news link for registration.
Morning Arrival
• Wewillrequireparentstoremain in their cars during the arrival and dismissal/pickup.
• Studentsmayarriveasearlyas7:15 am. Please do not drop students off before 7:15 am.
• Doorsopenat7:15amforstudentsand breakfast begins at 7:30 am.
• Studentswilltransitiontothegymor cafeteria to await dismissal to their classrooms at 7:35 am.
• Carriderswillenterthroughthe carpool lane for morning drop-off. The carpool lane closes at 7:55 am.
• Studentsshouldbeinclassat7:55 am when the tardy bell rings. Parents must park and sign their child in when tardy.
Afternoon Dismissal
• Dismissalbeginsat2:45pm.
• Carriders-Parentsmusthavetheir pickup card visible in the window when picking up their student
• Bus Riders- Please know your child’s way home before the first day of school.
• EarlyOut-Weaskthatparentsnot check their student out early from the front office after 2:00 pm. Parents/ guardians must have identification when signing out students.
• Thosestudentsnotpickedupby3:05 pm will go to Cub Care and be charged a drop-in fee.
