The Volley Hounds found themselves on the road once again last week, facing off against opposing competition four times.
Of those outings, both of the non-region and region variety, one was the most important.
That came last Tuesday on the road as Jones County captured its first region win of the season, taking down Hampton 2-0. The Lady Hounds also dropped their match the same day to Ola 2-0, giving them a split of the action in the tri-match.
JCHS, which played Thursday at Lake Oconee Academy, makes its way back to the friendly confines of its own arena this week. The Volley Hounds hosted Lake Oconee Academy on Tuesday with Eagles Landing and Christian Academy and Union Grove in two this Thursday for a region tri-match. Jones County also hosts Putnam next Tuesday.
