JV boys second, girls fourth

    Runners from Jones County’s JV runners didn’t miss out on the chance to put forth strong performances at the Rancher’s Release The Hounds Invitational on Saturday. The Greyhounds placed second as a team in the JV boys race, having four finishers within the event’s top 25, led by sixthplace Connor Peterson’s time of 19:24.85. Ian Borsahole inched ahead of teammate Landon Steinmeyer in 16th and 17th with times of 19:48.65 and 19:49.90. Dalton Russell ran a 20:08.96 for a finish of 22nd to help lead JCHS. Jones County’s girls placed fourth in the JV race, led by Macie White’s 24:44.66 finish of second place and Taylor Minter coming in 25th via a run of 27.55.72
