In recognition of Brain Awareness Month, the Pilot Club visited the Jones County Pre-K Center to share Pilot International’s signature program, BrainMinders. The program was presented using puppets, and the puppets focused on Brain Safety and Fitness. Wise Old Owl and his BrainMinder Buddies, Penny Panda, Gerald Giraffe, Fiona Fox and Martin Monkey shared everyday acts for boys and girls to practice, such as buckling seatbelts or booster seats, using caution crossing streets and parking lots, wearing helmets on skateboards, bikes, etc., and following playground rules. At the conclusion of the program, all 270 students received bike helmets. Pilot Club members enjoyed visiting the school and appreciate the administration allowing us the opportunity to share our message.
