Pilot Club installs new officers

    The Pilot Club held its Installation of Officers ceremony June 24 at the Jonesco Clubhouse.

    Attendees were greeted with redbirds and yellow roses to represent this year’s theme of “Spreading Joy Through Friendship and Service.”

    President Wanda Bush recognized Pilot Members with service milestones: Esther Foster with 35 years of service, Sally Brown with 20, Marianne Bivins with 15, and both Linda Reece and Nancy McCook with 10 years. Emeritus Member, Vicki Helton, was recognized for 20 years, and Emeritus Member, Beverly Wells for 25 years of service. Following the acknowledgements by the President, Beth Coon presented the Pilot of the Year; there were two, Wanda Bush and Kathy Jackson.

    The Installation of Officers and Directors followed the awards.

    Pilot Members look forward to another year of championing Brain Safety and Health and Caring for Caregivers in the community.
