March 2, 1942 - May 7, 2026
Sharon Kay Hubbard passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at Pine Point Hospice surrounded by her loving family. A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 12:00 noon with a visitation for family and friends one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Laird Van Gorder officiated.
Sharon was born on March 2, 1942, to the late Fred and Olga Snelson.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Carl Patrick Hubbard and sister, Janet Hecht.
Sharon had a long career in the insurance field having served the families of Gray at Alfa Insurance Agency. She lived a healthy life and was a planner. A great wife and mother, Sharon never missed a school function or sporting event for her son. She attended church regularly and was a faithful Lutheran.
Sharon was able to travel all over the world and enjoyed card games with her friends and had an active social life. She was sure to watch the nightly news and would be sure to watch the weather forecast.
Her life lessons to her son were first, her faith in her Savior Jesus Christ, humor, making good friends, and always doing the right thing even when no one was watching.
Sharon enjoyed good humor and a good laugh.
Her laughter would fill the house as she watched her favorite sitcoms and the laughter she shared with her good friends.
Sharon will leave a legacy to those who knew her best of her kindness, strength and a loyal friend. But most of all, she will be remembered for her life lesson to be genuine, a gift that will live on through everyone she touched.
Sharon is survived by her son, Ryan (Dana) Hubbard and many nieces and nephews.
