Dear Editor,
With the important Republican Primary for Governor coming up on May 19, it’s very important that we keep a proven conservative leader at the helm of our state government. That leader is Lt. Gov. Burt Jones!
Having known Burt and his family for many years, I can attest to his work ethic, dedication and commitment to the people of Georgia. Burt served Jones County from 2013-2023 as our state senator, representing the 25th district. During his years of service, he was instrumental in enacting and supporting legislation at the state capitol on behalf of citizens Jones County and the 25th district.
While serving as our state senator, Burt secured funding to upgrade our Public Library and worked closely with local officials to complete the much needed (Veterans Memorial Parkway) bypass around Gray.
I encourage you to look at Burt’s many accomplishments for the people of Georgia thus far, recognizing there is much work left to be done. I am asking you to endorse, talk to your friends and vote for Burt Jones in the Republican Primary and General Election of 2026.
