The Greyhounds announced the latest assistant coach to come aboard prior to spring practice getting underway April 19.
Trent Cook is headed to Gray, where he’ll coach the Greyhounds offensive line. With Cook’s hiring, Jones County will now have five new assistants on staff, three on the offensive side of the ball.
In addition to new defensive coordinator Will Conner and defensive assistant Tavarus Horton, new offense assistants are Cook, Daniel Brinson, who will also coach offensive line, and Kevin Patterson, who in addition to coaching receivers will also handle strength and conditioning.
Jones County concludes spring practice May 5, hosting Veterans in its spring scrimmage.
