Despite rain that was heavy at times, Jones County’s golfers set several personal bests last Thursday in a home match against Alcovy.

As a team, the Greyhounds team score of 171 was their lowest of the season with Cameron Page’s 43 and Barrett Beasly’s 38 being personal bests. Other top scores were Austin Hester’s 44 and Jacob Bridgeman’s 46.

In the girls’ match, Keegan Goins also had a personal best with a 36 with Kimber Kent having a 43 and Karlie Hoffman having a round of 48.

Both teams host Houston County March 23, sandwiched in between the GSGA Girls Invitational March 17-18 and the Boys GSGA Invitational March 24-25.
