The Lady Greyhounds are off and rolling to a strong start to the season, having posted a pair of shutouts.
It all began last Tuesday on a rainy night at Greyhound Field as the Lady Greyhounds blanked Jackson 6-0. That was followed up a few days later with Friday’s 10-0 road blanking of Putnam County. Jones County hosts Jasper County Friday before taking on powerhouse FPD in Macon on Feb. 24.
JCHS opens region play Feb. 28 at Hampton with the first region home match on March 11 against Union Grove.
“My seniors have done a great job leading so far,” Lady Greyhounds head coach Mikayla Coley said.
