There’s a different emotion that comes with running on a home course. Unlike other meets, the Greyhound Invitational affords the Greyhounds and Lady Greyhounds to run on a course where they probably know the turns and terrains like the back of their hands.

The Greyhounds were able to rest and fine-tune things last week during the first of their two open dates. Now, the urgency accelerates. The Greyhounds host Eagles Landing on Friday for their homecoming game. It will be a very early matchup of a pair of teams 1-0 in the region.

Bulldogs’ tight end Brock Bowers reached a historic career milestone in Georgia’s win over UAB-Birmingham last Saturday. Bowers hauled in nine receptions for 121 yards and two touchdowns against the Blazers.
