Book Sale
The Jones County Friends of the Library will have their book sale Saturday, June 8, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 273 Railroad Street, Gray, in the building next to JCHS track. All types of books and audio visuals for all ages. Terrific prices. Feature of the month – travel and geography.
Flag Retirement Ceremony
Woodmen Life Chapter #358 in Round Oak and Oliver Morton Chapter of DAR in Gray are going to have a flag retirement ceremony June 15 at 2 p.m. at the Woodman Hall in Round Oak. The community is invited.

Second Annual Juneteenth Celebration
Juneteenth is presented by Les Dames Magnifiques of Gray/ Jones County, Georgia.
All are welcome to join in the celebration June 29, at Carol’s Park in Gray from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The celebration will include a day filled with performances, education, and enjoyable activities for every age. Experience a positive and uplifting celebration the history of this holiday. Local artists, vendors, and food trucks will be present. The public’s presence will add joy and warmth to this vibrant event.
