Ol’ Time Fourth

Saturday, July 1, 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Jarrell Plantation Historic Site, Juliette. Celebrate Fourth of July weekend at Jarrell Plantation with live bluegrass music, old time carnival games, relays, and races and see the farm come to life with farm skill demos like spinning, weaving, wood-stove cooking and blacksmithing. Stay for a slice of watermelon and a reading of the Declaration of Independence at noon. Admission: $3.50-$9.

Creekside/ Plantation Neighborhood Association

Creekside/Plantation Neighborhood Association will hold an emergency meeting Monday, July 10, at Christ Community Church, 565 Lite N Tie Road, Gray. This meeting is open to all families in the subdivision. The purpose of the meeting is to elect new officers for the association and also unite homeowners and the residents in the peacefulness, and residential character of the Creekside/ Plantation neighborhood.
