Annual Ol’ Time Fourth
Thursday, July 4, 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Jarrell Plantation Historic Site, 711 Jarrell Plantation Road, Juliette, GA 31046, Southeast of Juliette, 18 miles from I-75 Forsyth exit #185 or 18 miles north of Macon exit #171. Celebrate Fourth of July at Jarrell Plantation with live bluegrass music, old time carnival games, relays, and races and see the farm come to life with farm skill demos like spinning, woodstove cooking and blacksmithing. Stay for a slice of watermelon and a reading of the Declaration of Independence at noon.

Second Annual Juneteenth Celebration
Juneteenth is presented by Les Dames Magnifiques of Gray/ Jones County, Georgia.
All are welcome to join in the celebration June 29, at Carol’s Park in Gray from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The celebration will include a day filled with performances, education, and enjoyable activities for every age. Experience a positive and uplifting celebration the history of this holiday. Local artists, vendors, and food trucks will be present. The public’s presence will add joy and warmth to this vibrant event.
