Station 1 Spaghetti Dinner
Jones County Fire Department Station 1 on Highway 49 will be having a spaghetti dinner May 10, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Each plate includes spaghetti, salad, bread, dessert and tea for $8. Walk-ins welcome. Dine-in or carryout.
New Hope Baptist Church events
New Hope Baptist Church, Highway 49, Gray, will be having Homecoming May 11 at the 11:00 a.m. service. Revival will be May 12-14, 6:30 p.m. until with finger foods May 14. Vacation Bible School will be June 9-11, from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. All are welcome.
Powerful Tools for Caregivers
The Middle Georgia Regional Commission will host an online series beginning May 13 through June 17 on Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m.
These programs give caregivers tools to avoid burnout and ensure they are taking important steps to take care of their own well-being. Benefits include peer support, connecting with others, fewer feelings of isolation, and developing coping strategies.

2025 Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program
The Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program will be held Thursday, June 12, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Jones County Senior Center, 126 Senior Center Way. The program provides eligible Middle Georgia seniors with fresh fruits and vegetables from local farmers’ markets.
Benefits are issued on a firstcome, first-served basis until all are distributed. Pre-registration is encouraged. Registration forms are available at the Jones County Senior Center. For more information, call 478-986-6815.
March on Main for Babies
March on Main for Babies will be held Friday, May 9, Main Street Gray, 103 Atlanta Road.
Registration time will be 4:00 p.m. and event start time will be 5:00 p.m. This volunteer-led March for Babies Walk is hosted and organized by dedicated March of Dimes volunteers in this community to fight for the health of all moms and babies.

Swing A Club for CASA Golf Tournament
Ocmulgee Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) and The Club at Lake Sinclair present Swing A Club for CASA Golf Tournament on Friday, May 16, 2025. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m., with a shotgun start at 11 a.m. at 3700 Sinclair Dam Road, Milledgeville.
