Real Life

“in thy light shall we see light” (Ps 36:9) In Jesus, and Him alone, you can find the light of life.

Jesus said in John 8:12, “I am the light of the world; he that follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” The apostle John wrote that in Jesus “was life; and the life was the light of men.” (Jn 1:4). Without Jesus, people stumble around in spiritual darkness, believing fables and doctrines of demons instead of God’s truth. (I Tim 4:1). And unless they turn to Jesus for salvation, they will die in that darkness to be cast forever into the “outer darkness” that Jesus spoke of in Matt 22:13. No light of Jesus means no life in Jesus.

Walking in God’s light illuminates the truth. Darkness conceals the truth. It is by Jesus’ light that we see light--see how to live life, see how to avoid the pitfalls of sin, see how to steer clear of the lies of the devil. How is it that people can’t answer what is a woman? Or believe there are more than two genders? Or can’t see that a baby in the womb is human life? Because they are in darkness and can’t see truth. God’s light shows us God’s truth.
