“And call upon Me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify Me.
(Ps 50:15) Is this a day of trouble for you, whatever that trouble may be? A trouble that overwhelms you, bringing you to your knees?
On your knees is a good place to be because from there you can call upon the Lord for help.
In fact, Jesus invites you, encourages you, to call upon Him in your day of trouble.
Your trouble, overwhelming to you, will never overwhelm Jesus.
He is Lord.
Jesus promises to deliver you. He may deliver you from the trouble or He may deliver you through the trouble, but deliver He will. And in turn your deliverance will bring Him glory.
God will use your trouble to both grow you in your faith and to bring glory to His name. Got trouble? Go to Jesus. He’s just a prayer away.
