–George Sheffield “And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.“ (Rev 21:5) Jesus makes all things new. Including you if you will let Him. He will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you. Your heart is corrupt, hard like stone. Jesus will give you a heart of flesh, one that’s tender and purified. And He will put His Spirit within you to teach and comfort you in this life.
(Eze 36:26).
Jesus will give you a new mind. Your unsaved mind is also corrupt.
But Jesus will give you a mind that has been renewed, a mind like His, that thinks on righteousness instead of wickedness. (Rom 12:2 and I Cor 2:16) And one day Jesus will give you a new body.
Incorruptible: not subject to disease, death, decay.
Glorified: perfect, sinless, powerful. Spiritual: not limited to time or space.
A body just like Jesus’ resurrected body, minus the scars. (I Cor 15:42-44 and Phil 3:21) In Jesus we are a totally new creation, a new creature, a new person. The old things have been done away with, ALL things are new. (II Cor 5:17) If you are not saved, let Jesus make you new this new year. Not a make over but a made new.
What a way to start 2023. Be saved today. Have a blessed New Year.
