GSMS Robotics Team enters Lego challenge

The Gray Station Middle School Robotics Team has entered the First Lego League Challenge, in its first year, and the students have already achieved notable success.The team participated in the regional competition at Middle Georgia State University in December and earned the Core Values Award.

DFES fourth graders learn lessons about bees

Students at Dames Ferry Elementary School are engaged in an exciting year-long STEM project focused on honeybees, led by Phil Huskins, a local beekeeper and community partner.

Salem AME Church, 115 Holloman Road, will be having its annual Sons of Allen Men’s Ministry Service on Sunday, Feb. 23, at 2:00 p.m. The guest preacher will be the Rev. Austin Walker of Parker’s Chapel AME Church in Culloden and Griggs Chapel AME Church in Monticello.
