Roger A. Stevens is the local veteran of the week. He was a member of the U.S. Army from 1977 - 1997, achieving the rank of master sergeant. He spent 19 of his 20 years as a Green Beret with the 5th Special Forces on numerous special missions in many countries, including Desert Storm.
