Jones County Head Start hosted fall festival and Dad’s Day: Kids holding the bears are second and third runners up for selling raffle tickets to raise money for the Parent Group. The Parent Group votes on what activities to spend their money towards. The group raised a little over $1,300.

A record-smashing 4 million Georgians voted before Election Day this year, Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger's office reported during the weekend.The 3.76 million who cast their ballots in person and the 242,620 who voted absentee by mail combined to account for 55.
